JAG RF can provide customized filters to suite each customer’s individual needs. We can extend or shorten the length of a cavity shell or we can weld cavities together to obtain the most compact configuration. JAG RF can also mill out additional ports for customized coupling loops for such things as secondary taps and frequency probes. If a port diameter needs to be increased or decreased for an after market loop or a loop from a different manufactures, we can do that as well. JAG RF can machine new tuning nuts and punch out new end caps if needed. We also provide plating service for the cavity shells if needed. |
JAG RF can make customized alterations to tuning rods and their associated components. We can supply new INVAR rods if the length is too short or we can weld INVAR rods together without compromising INVAR’s expansion coefficient. If extremely high stability is required, we can modify tuner sections with SUPER INVAR or KOVAR and or advanced polymers for extended operating temperature range as may be required in controlled laboratory environments. We also provide silver cleaning and or plating for those sections that show wear or advanced oxidization. JAG RF can cut new fingers into stubs or add or replace finger stock as well as machine new stubs or entire tuning sections form a variety of alloys depending on the customer’s requirements. |
JAG RF sometimes stocks leftover extrusion and pre-punched aluminum plates from duplexers and filters that have been deemed unrecoverable. These extrusions can be reworked and or machined to achieve the desired shape. JAG RF can weld extrusions in custom configurations such as for duplexers with 3 high-pass and 2 low-pass or for special mounting consideration such as a duplexer required to take a U-shape configuration. We can also design and manufacture similar product such as pre-punched plate if the order calls for a reasonable quantity. |
JAG RF has the know how to completely disassemble tuning sections of extrusion type duplexers into their base components for cleaning and modification. Cleaning can only be done properly when all base parts have been separated, and depending on the alloy and plating, the parts are given a chemical bath. After the chemical bath, the parts are ready for existing plating to be removed in preparation for re-plating, or simply cleaned if the oxidation is not extensive. JAG RF can also create replacements parts that are unique to a given manufacturers extrusion type duplexer. |
