Connectors are an essential part of any RF system and as a result, JAG RF has taken the initiative to stock the most common RF connectors in use today. We stock all the major manufactures such as Delta, Amphenol, RF Industries, Kings, Andrew, Eupen, Times Microwave, Radio Frequency Systems (RFS), Huber + Suhner, and many more. Most of JAG RF’s inventory consists of 50-ohm connectors; however, we do stock a limited quantity of 75-ohm BNC connectors. We can always source 75-ohm RF connectors of various types within a reasonable time frame if required. |
JAG RF stocks many types of new connectors of various type/design such as BNC, TNC, N, PL-259, SO-239, DIN, SMA, and a variety of subminiature and microwave connector types. RF connectors are used primarily with coaxial lines and come in the familiar “male” and “female” connector pairs. RF connectors must meet minimum losses, minimum reflection coefficients, and the like. That is why JAG RF only sells quality name brand connectors and stays away from “cheap” low grade over seas brands that compromise quality and performance for price. JAG RF sells connectors individually or in packages. |
Some of the highest quality RF connectors are military grade UG type connectors. These connectors have been designed to outlast and out perform almost every type of connector in their class. It is because of this resilience that JAG RF stockpiles used UG connectors to be refurbished and resold. We stock all types of UG connectors from clamp type to bulkhead mount. JAG RF has established a rigorous refurbishing technique for UG connectors over the years. One such connector that receives this treatment is the extremely high quality UG-21B/U. The connector is taken apart and each part is hand cleaned as a chemical process could damage the insulator material. The connector is then assembled onto a custom made JAG RF test jig and swept for insertion loss and return loss up to 18 GHz. |

JAG RF stocks high quality new and refurbished connectors for all types of RF filter applications from duplexers to combiners. We stock the basic round flange type ‘N’ female connector used for coupling loops with most cavity filter manufacturers as well as the copper strap. For duplexer harnessing, JAG RF stocks the military grade UG-107B/U ‘N’ type tee connector and we also stock RF Industries RFN-1010-1 ‘N’ type tee connector. Another common and sometimes essential filter connector is the military ‘N’ type UG-27C/U 90-degree elbow connector. JAG RF stocks these high quality connectors from Delta and Kings. We also stock a proprietary manipulation of this same connector, which has an additional RG-142 pigtail as the 3rd port and is also used in JAG RF’s proprietary replacement duplexer harnesses. |

As can be seen in the photograph to the left, JAG RF stocks an assortment of new and used RF adapters. We try to stock the most common types of adapters in at least two possible permutations in bulk. Therefore, if we have a PL-259 to ‘N’ female in stock, we will also have an ‘N’ male to SO-239 in stock. We stock RF adapters from Amphenol, Delta, Kings, RF Industries, Huber + Suhner, and others. JAG RF also stocks some of the more exotic adapters such as Transmitter combiner star junctions and 4-way connectors as depicted to the left. We keep a good quantity of ‘N’ female to ‘N’ female bulkhead adapters on hand as they are very commonly used for equipment chassis or cabinets and ground buses. |
JAG RF stocks the very popular ‘N’ type connector for a variety of cables and in many configurations from crimp to clamp to solder type. The type ‘N’ series (the original Navy connector, circa World War II) can be used up to 12 GHz. By eliminating the slots in the outer conductor, type ‘N’ connectors can work all the way to 18 GHz. High quality ‘N’ type connector bodies are made of corrosion resistant alloy, beryllium copper, phosphor bronze, or brass. Connector finishes include gold plate, non-tarnish silver plate, silver plate, and passivated treatments for resistance to corrosion. Many of these connectors are made in a rugged form as well. |
When it comes to outdoor RF connector applications, especially with respect to cellular, commercial land mobile, and some broadcast applications, JAG RF stocks many kinds and brands of connectors to fit solid copper, corrugated outer conductor coaxial cable such as Andrew HELIAX and Eupen coaxial cable. We keep a small inventory of type ‘N’ and DIN connectors for various cable sizes; however, we can supply an array of HELIAX and Eupen connectors in many sizes and types upon request within a reasonable time frame. |
